Every once in a while I feel compelled to write again on the benefits of Article Writing or Marketing for the home based or small business. There are only a few ways today of promoting a website or product on line that actually work and article marketing is one of them. If you are not taking advantage of this free method of promotion you are not doing everything that you can to promote your product or website. Why Do People Spam?
This is a quick post, just because it’s on my mind right now. Why do people spam? Clearly on this blog nothing gets past a human review because we are only interested in relevant commentary about home business and legitimate home based business products. No mater what we have written in our About Us or Guidelines pages we still get spammed. Doesn’t make sense. Why even bother to try to post something about Viagra or cheap prescriptions. If you analyze it though it seems that spammers will make the attempt and play a numbers game hoping that one or two might get through. It’s kind of dumb though because any self respecting blog runs a spam filter and catches 99.9% of the spam or moderates at 100%. At any rate thanks Akismet. I think I’ll make another donation.

What do social bookmarking or portal sites have to do with Home Business? It’s another way to reach a potential customer base. Just like YouTube, MySpace, FaceBook and Twitter it’s a way to directly communicate with existing and potential customers. Take YouTube for example.
