Once a product meets those criteria, it is time to find out what your market share will be. Largely, that will be dependent on the number of businesses that are competing for your target market. Study the competition, but also study more closely the wants of the customers. You may then be able to find a niche that has less competition.

Also, look at the overall picture and consider the general interest factor. There may be a high level of interest in a product that has not yet shown a high sales volume. Are many advertisers pushing similar products. If the general interest factor is high, that may be a product line worth pushing.

Next comes the stage where we collate all of the collected data and see how it all fits together. If a product has very low demand, there will obviously be little conversion into sales. If there is too much competition, you will be getting too small of a market share to make pushing that product viable.

Consider your advertising budget as well. If you have to pay a great deal on advertising, you need to be able to anticipate a high return on your advertising budget. Finally, if low demand for a product is combined with little general interest, it is unlikely that you will be able to garner sales no matter how much money you spend promoting the product.
