Search Engine Optimization Search Guide
It's tough getting noticed on the web. A Web page can provide helpful information regarding a popular subject in an interactive and engrossing way, yet still attract few visitors. One of the most reliable methods to improve traffic is to obtain a good search engine ranking on the search engine return pages (SERPs). To achieve this you may start considering hiring an SEO. It is a big decision that can potentially help your site and save time, but you may also risk damage to your site and reputation. SEO is an acronym for "search engine optimization" or "search engine optimizer." An SEO webmaster will use an accumulation of techniques to improve the given site's SERP position. Make sure to research the potential advantages as well as the damage that an irresponsible SEO can do to your site.
Utilizing Google Search
If you aren’t utilizing all of the tools that Google provides on the AdSense site you are missing out on a hot additional revenue stream. Google recently has updated their search tool and it can now be highly customized for your website. That means you can add another revenue stream to your AdSense income. The new search tool can now easily fit on one line with the search button to the right. The box size can be controlled as well but one of the best new features is how easy it is to place search results within your template design. This allows you to earn revenue from ads displayed on the search results pages of your site. You can choose to show the ads or not and where you want the ads shown.
You can customize the look and feel of the search results pages to fit your own template keeping your viewers on site. There is one issue however, the size limitation of the search results must be at least 790 pixels. You may have to create a special search results template to accommodate the large size. Check it out.

Optimizing Tips From Google Adsense
One of the major benefits in using Google as a partner on your site is the amount of information they provide to you in support of their programs. A good example is a recent blog post on the Google Custom search box.
Google recommends using their search box for added revenue on your site. A few weeks back Google announced improvements in their search feature allowing greater control over site customization. Utilizing the custom search engine is a sure way of increasing total revenue on your site. Their recommendations for maximizing your site revenue are:
1. Always place search boxes in highly visible or easy to find locations. In this way your readers will have quicker access to finding information on your site.
2. When possible add two search boxes to long pages to provide easy access to search functionality. This works particularly well with pages that need to be scrolled.
3. Host your search results on your own site. This recommendation makes sense because if you want to create simple navigation within your site, utilizing your own template and containing the search results on your own pages works really well.
4. Add a search box to your search results pages. This makes a lot of sense because if the results of the search didn’t meet your viewers expectations they have the opportunity of performing additional searches.
5. Customize your ad locations. If you follow the logic in item #3 above then this will make sense to you, because you can easily add your own advertising to your search results pages.
Some of my own thoughts are to try and integrate the look of the search engine results to mirror your own template. This adds to the overall customization of the search results pages and also improves readability and flow.
